About Lipscomb Hydra Cleaning & Lipscomb Restoration Solutions & Our Mission

Founded in 1986, Lipscomb Hydra Cleaning & Lipscomb Restoration Solutions was the result of happy homeowners everywhere. The company originated near the South Carrollton, KY, 42330 area. Owner Stuart Lipscomb II decided after 15+ years working for many home & business owners (one of the largest being the Executive Inn’s) he made the decision to down size. Lipscomb now has a location near you where they clean and maintain hundreds of homes and businesses.

Now, more than 20 years later, Stuart Lipscomb II & his son Stuart Lipscomb III have partnered and re-expand the Tile & Grout Cleaning business to South Carrollton. Lipscomb III is a graduate from Brescia University ’14, and former member of the Bearcat Golf Team. From the start, Stuart III says, “I knew I had a challenge ahead of me basically starting a new business in an area where people have long ago forgotten about us. But after spending my college years in the area, I knew this was the place I wanted to live and raise a family. We are grateful and owe our success to the relationships with great home & business owners in South Carrollton and the opportunities they have given us along the way.”

Lafe and his group from Lipscomb came to our home almost immediately after we purchased it as we found water on a closet floor in the carpet (thanks to the inspector, NOT Lipscomb, for missing that). It was determined that mold was present in that closet - badly - and in a lot of that one bedroom (bottom part of walls, floor/carpet) in addition to a bathroom. Not only did he and Lipscomb act quickly to handle the job, but he kept in communication to be sure the project was progressing well. He also came by routinely to check on things. Lafe was professional and handled things with honesty and was upfront about the cost, though he wasn’t concerned with immediate payment. His sole concern was getting rid of the mold and making the repairs needed for safety first.Lafe also suggested contractors that Lipscomb sometimes reaches out to for repairs and we moved forward with one of them. That gentleman ended up doing additional work in our home.Highly recommend this company!

Lafe and his crew came out and helped us when we bought our house and found some unexpected mold and water damage. The job was completed in a timely manner. Lafe was professional, but personable. The room ended up being 10x better than before. Highly recommend!

If I could give 10 stars to Lipscomb Cleaning & Restoration - I would! My family was in a EF4 Tornado and Lipscomb came to our rescue just a few days after the storm took a large toll on our home. They helped gut and prep our home for the contractors to begin the rebuilding phase. They were always professional, always on time, and a breeze to work with. They worked with our insurance company to make sure we (the customer) were taken care of to the fullest. I have to give a shoutout to Leif! He is the only person I would want to work with when it comes to dealing with this type of damage! He is fantastic to work with and really cares about his customers. Thank you for everything you have done to help our family and our home in this restoration process!

Carpets look great and the guy was very nice but my baseboards, which were painted about 8 months ago, look as though they have gone through a chipper. Now I am going to have to repaint.

JOB HALF DONE…As pricey are they are you would think they would see the job all the way through and “RESTORE” it to its original state. The tech removed the base board, broke it in multiple places and then told me its a complete separate job to put them back on at the end of the job for an additional cost. I called the office to ask about it and she said they only do DEMOLITION mind you this is a RESTORATION company. They make you sign a contract stating you will pay whatever they charge when the job is complete. Tech quoted me $600+ on site then called me later quoting $800+ then ended up paying $700+. This was my first occurrence with them and having this issue but definitely a learning experience I’d give 0 stars is i could.

Wow! Thank goodness for the folks at Lipscomb Hydra Cleaning! Our toddler decided to flush a large amount of legos down the toilet, leading to our entire upstairs bathroom and hallway flooding. We used their service at our motel business here at the Regency Inn in Eddyville. They are by far the best carpet cleaning service we have used in our 35 years of running this business. Very nice people to do business with. I called the business and the project manager Lafe Riggs came right on out about 45 min later. Looked at the work that needed to be done. Fully explained the whole process. Gave us an estimate the next day and came out that afternoon. He was very polite and very reasonable. And on time! I rarely leave a review, but this guy and this company are great to do business with. I highly recommend them. He even explained all the services they offer. But not in a sales tone, once you meet Mr. Riggs you will see what I’m trying to say. He is honest and hard working. Very professional! We plan on having the vent system cleaned next. I assure you you won’t find a more knowledgeable and professional person. These people know their business!
